Preparing a commercial cleaning enquiry
A practical checklist for requesting a quote for offices and other business premises in Greater Manchester.
Request a cleaning quote ↗Describe the premises
Include your postcode, type of business, approximate floor area, number of levels, occupied work areas, kitchens and washrooms. Explain whether you need an initial clean, recurring maintenance or both. A site assessment may be needed before a firm price is agreed.
Set priorities and frequency
Explain which areas need attention most often and what a successful clean should include. Specify desired days and whether staff or customers will be present. Avoid assuming a particular out-of-hours slot is available until it is confirmed.
Confirm access and responsibilities
Discuss keys, alarms, parking, storage and restricted areas. Agree responsibilities for equipment, cleaning products, consumables and waste. Flag sensitive documents and equipment that should not be moved or touched.
Identify specialist requirements early
Healthcare, food-production, industrial and other regulated environments may require specialist processes or qualifications. Describe these requirements before requesting a booking; suitability and availability must be assessed rather than assumed.
Compare written scopes, not just totals
Check which tasks, areas and frequency a quote covers. Agree how changes, extra visits, invoicing and any concerns will be handled before work begins.
